Muskets are a type of Weapon in New World. Muskets are slow-firing but powerful ranged firearms used to engage enemies from a distance. They require the use of Ammunition for each attack. Muskets can be obtained in a number of ways: Through Crafting, found as random loot in chests and containers, as random drops by Enemies and Bosses or as rewards for completing Quests. Weapons provide many different options and approaches to combat, allowing the player to deal damage in different ways.

The Musket is a long-ranged weapon that boast superior firepower in exchange for a longer time between shots.
The Musket's damage scales off of the player's Dexterity and Intelligence Attributes. Investing in these stats will improve the player's effectiveness with all Muskets
Musket Skills
Muskets have two Masteries at their disposal. The Sharpshooter Skill Tree mainly focus on inflicting massive damage to single targets, whilst Trapper Skill Tree mainly focus on crowd control devices such as traps and bombs
