New World is an MMORPG that is developed and published by Amazon Game Studios, it was set to be released in August 31st 2021 but was delayed and released on September 28th 2021 and it is only available on PC. New World introduces a wide spectrum of character personalization that will fit a player's build through a deep crafting mechanic like crafting their desired gear such as weapons and armor, improving on certain specializations, weapon mastery, and many more. It is up to you and your allies to carve your own destiny as you venture into a supernatural frontier known as Aeternum.
Gameplay Overview
New World is an open-world MMORPG that is set in an alternate-history in the twilight of the Age of Exploration, and takes place on the fictional and supernatural island of Aeternum in the 17th century., players scavenge resources in order to survive, craft items, discover settlements, claim territories, and to somehow rebuild on Aeternum.
In New World, the game is set on an island called Aeternum, a “supernatural frontier” that attracts adventurers seeking the source of eternal life, a mysterious substance called Azoth. As explorers arrive at its shores, they discover the “Corruption”, a malevolent force that twists and warps creatures and makes them hostile. These creatures are known as “The Corrupted” and are the main NPC enemies of the game.
As you discover the island and face The Corrupted, it is up to you to carve your own destiny by choosing how to fight, master and specialize in various aspects, and how to survive alongside hundreds of other players. Even as a lone-wolf, you'll need to band together to keep fortified strongholds against other players and hostile creatures.
