How do I join the Closed Beta?
You can sign up for the opportunity to get into Closed Beta by visiting New World's official page OR you can pre-order the game via Amazon or Steam to secure access.
Can players stream during the Closed Beta?
Yes, closed Beta marks the first point where you can feel free to stream and create content using New World.
When will the Closed Beta be available?
The Closed Beta is scheduled to be live in April 2020.
Will my Alpha progress be carried over to the Closed Beta?
Unfortunately, no. After the many improvements and changes that were made to New World between Closed Alpha and Beta, players will note be able to carry over their player progression. The developers quoted that "It's time to start fresh and experience all the changes for yourself!"
Will my Beta progress be carried over to Release?
No, the progress will not be carried over and as per the developers, they will be "wiping progress" before New World's official release in May 2020.
