Virulent Edge is one of the Epic Hatchets in New World. Hatchets are one of the 11 Weapon types available in New World for the players to choose from, and are ideal for engaging multiple Enemies. Hatchets damage scale 90% with Strength and 65% with Dexterity.
The axe itself seems to be diseased, cursed to infect all who may be struck by it.
Virulent Edge Related Masteries
Virulent Edge uses the Hatchet Mastery, that is divided in two different trees. The Berserker tree, that revolves around boosting the player's melee attacks and both thier speed and the player's, or the Throwing Tree, that allows players to take advantage of the ranged capabilities of the Hatchet.
