Ice Gauntlet Skills are one of the Weapon Skill Masteries available in New World. The Ice Gauntlet is a magical weapon of destructive power that boasts superior crowd control. The Ice Gauntlet excels in large area-of-effect spells that slow or freeze enemies in their tracks.
Ice Gauntlet Skills are made up of the Ice Tempest and Ice Conjurer trees.

Ice Tempest Tree Active Skills

Wind Chill
Blasts a column of freezing winds forward that pushes back enemies 5m and deals 20% weapon damage each hit. Wind Chill has a total range of 7m with the farthest 2m increasing damage 20% without pushing enemies. Player is able to move during the attack. Cost 20 Mana.
15s Cooldown
Upgrades:
Enduring Chill - Increase duration of Wind Chill by 1 second.
Chilling Blast - Increases damage dealt by the last 2 meters of Wind Chill's range by 25%.

Ice Spikes
Creates a trail of spikes that start from the player and go out in a straight line for 8 meters. The path ends with a Mighty Spike that will cause large damage and pushback. Pressing LMB before reaching the end of the path will spawn the Mighty Spike early.
10s Cooldown
Upgrades:
Refreshing Spikes: Cooldown for this ability decreased by 10% if enemy is hit by Major Spike.
Empowered Spikes: Mighty Spike Damage increased by 20% when hitting an enemy below 30% health.
Deadly Path: Increases damage by 10% and adds stagger to the path of spikes. Does not increase Mighty Spike damage.
Spiky Reach: Ice Shards fire from the sides of the Mighty Spike to hit a wider area. Each Shard will have a 6 meter range and hit for 75% of the Mighty Spike’s damage.

Ice Storm
Create a 5m radius storm at the target area that deals 17% weapon damage every 0.33s for 5s. The storm also creates a frosted area that slows enemies in it by 25%. (Slow reduces target's movement speed.) Cost 25 Mana.
20s Cooldown
Upgrades:
Weakening Gust: Incoming damage is increased by 10% for 3 seconds to enemies in Ice Storm if below 50% health.
Storm Summoner: Ice Storm mana cost is decreased by 80% at full mana.
Punishing Storm: Increases damage by 10% for each enemy in Ice Storm.
Ice Tempest Tree Passive Abilities

Cold Reach
Increase damage of light and heavy attacks by 15% for targets farther than 15 meters.

Energized Critical
Increase critical damage of Ice Spells by 10% when at full stamina.

Heavy Freeze
Heavy attacks will root a target if they are standing in Ice Storm or have frostbite. Root lasts for 1 second and has a 5 second cooldown.

Critical Rejuvenation
Recover 5 mana after triggering a critical hit on a target.

Gathering Storm
Hit with three consecutive light attacks to grant player 15 mana.

Critical Frost
Increase critical chance if hitting an enemy in a frosted area or with Frostbite by 15%.

Ultimate Chill
Ice gauntlet abilities chill targets, increasing ice damage dealt to the target by 25% for 3s.
Ice Conjurer Tree Active Skills

Ice Shower
Summon a shower Of ice that creates a frosted area approximately 1 meter by 5 meters. Enemies that enter the Ice Shower Will be stricken ith a powerful Frostbite. Frostbite roots for 1 second, blocks sprinting and dodging, slows speed by 50%, and Will remain on target for 3 second after exiting the Ice Shower. Ice Shower has a lifetime of 4 seconds. Cost 25 Mana.
Cooldown: 30 Seconds
Upgrades:
Enduring Shower: Increase Ice Shower duration to 7 seconds.
Quick Shower: Any ally, including self, will get a 25% speed boost for 2 seconds when entering Ice Shower.
Frigid Showers: Frostbite applies Rend to target reducing defense 10%

Ice Pylon
Place a pylon that fires ice projectiles at enemies within 20m. Projectiles deal 50% weapon damage if they hit. Ice Pylon creates a 1m radius frosted area around itself and lasts for 15s unless it is destroyed. Cost 15 Mana.
10s Cooldown
Upgrades:
Greater Pylon: Increases damage of Ice Pylon by 10% for slowed targets.
Pylon Regen: Ice Pylon regenerates to full health for 5 seconds after last damage taken
Pylon Dodge: Dodging with full stamina increases Ice Pylon rate of fire for 3 seconds.
Pylon Refresh: A successful hit extends Ice Pylon's lifetime by 1 second.
Ultimate Frost: Doubles Ice Pylon's health and extends Ice Pylon frost radius to 5 meters. Standing in this area doubles Quick Frost and Empowered Frost bonuses.

Entombed
Entomb yourself in ice to become invulnerable and greatly increase mana regeneration. The tomb lasts for 10s but can be destroyed early. Press block to exit the tomb normally or press light attack to exit while causing a damaging knockback at the cost of 20 mana. Cost 0 Mana.
Cooldown: 30 Seconds
Upgrades:
Strengthened Tomb: Increases defense by 25% for 3 seconds after breaking out of Entombed.
Cleaning Tomb: Cleance all debuffs when being Emtombed.
Ice Conjurer Tree Passive Skills

Blocking Stamina
Blocking with Ice Gauntlet will convert mana to stamina on hit. 3 mana to 15 stamina.

Frozen Touch
Slow enemies by 25% for 2 seconds when they hit you with a melee attack while you have 100% health.

Defiant Freeze
Casting an Ice ability creates an ice hardened layer granting 20% fortify for 2 seconds.

Quick Frost
Increase speed by 10% in a frosted area.

Empowered Frost
Regain 3 mana for each spell cast while in a frosted area.

Refreshing Frost
Reduce all active cooldowns for ice abilities by 20% when casting an ability in a frosted area.

Ultimate Frost
Doubles Ice Pylon's health and extends Ice Pylon frost radius to 5 meters. Standing in this area doubles Quick Frost and Empowered Frost bonuses.
