Determination is one of the Uncommon Round Shields in New World. Round Shields, are the lightest of the three types of Shields available and grant the biggest bonus to Stagger Damage and Block Stamina Damage. Shields have to be worn in the offhand slot. Shields damage scale 90% with Strength and 65% with Dexterity.
The first thing to understand about your enemy is that their will is as strong as yours.
Determination Related Masteries
Determination uses the Sword & Shield Mastery, that is divided in two different trees. The Swordmaster, that focuses on boosting the offensive capacities of the player or the Defender, that is oriented towards tanking, reducing incoming damage and boosting the player's defenses.
