Counter Attack is a Passive Tier III Sword and Shield Mastery skill in New World. Counter Attack can be used to increase damage by blocking attacks. Abilities in the Swordmaster skill tree mainly focus on boosting the player's offensive capabilities by increasing the damage output, granting more mobility, and taking advantage of the Sword and shield combo to stun Enemies. Sword & Shield mainly benefit from Strength, but Dexterity also contributes although on a secondary level.
