Alectos the Relentless is a Boss in New World. Alectos the Relentless can be found at Shattered Obelisk during Starstone Barrows Expedition. Alectos the Relentless is a Level 36 Boss. By defeating Alectos the Relentless you will be instantly rewarded with: +99.00 Coin, +1350 XP and +270 Weapon Mastery.
Alectos the Relentless Information
Alectos the Relentless is considered to be the first true Boss encountered during the Starstone Barrows Expedition. When you task is to search for the key to gain entry to the Crypt of the Regent, you will have time to heal and you will be able to see him from far ahead, it is recommended to clean the area from other enemies before engaging into battle with Alectos the Relentless.
Alectos the Relentless will trigger to engage into battle when you are at a certain distance from him, and his first move is to summon his Minions, and he will summon many more during the battle later on. One of these Minions may get Empowered by Alectos, so always mind them. Alectos the Relentless is easily staggered by heavy attacks or staggering skills, so stay alert to interrupt his abilities. Knocking him down will make him even more vulnerable. The Nova spell is one of its most dangerous spells.
Alectos the Relentless Abilities & Effects
Alectos the Relentless can perform the following Abilities during battle and these are the effects:
- Arcane Orbs: Alectos shoots out 5 large orbs at the party. This attack can be resisted pretty well by someone with a tank build.
- Arcane Nova: Alectos slams his staff to the ground blasting out Arcane energy around him, dealing damage in a small area. Alectos spins his staff before slamming it to the ground, which makes the attack predictable.
- Arcane Blast: Quick successive blasts with his staff that deal moderate damage.
- Arcane Heal: Alectos is able heal himself one third of his health holding his hands up in the air.
- Summon Minions: Alectos summons 3 Minions (Similar to the Warriors). These enemies are dangerous when they are in large groups. Mind that Alectos may Empower one of these Minions making them more dangerous.
- Empower: Alectos may cast this spell to one of his Minions, making them larger and more dangerous.
